Midway through checkpoint for the December 25 - March 26 Outreachy Contribution Round [IMPORTANT!]

Hello there all Outreachy applicants for this round.

Time keeps flying, and we have already reached the midway point for this contribution phase.

Now is a great time to:

  • go over your open PRs, see if you’re missing incorporating feedback from them
  • check your open tickets, see if you haven’t claimed more than you were able to work on, so far
  • review the types of tasks you have worked on so far, and try to diversify your contributions, in case you haven’t done so, already (and look for something that ramps up complexity, a bit)

If you haven’t started to fill up your final contribution form, we also suggest you doing so. This gives you time to think about the tasks you have worked with, and the other questions without rush. Try to submit that form before the last day, to avoid unnecessary stress. You can edit your final application until the deadline (Nov 3). Please keep an eye in your inboxes (either forum or emails used to submit contributions), as I will be sharing the community questions we ask you all to answer with your final submission form within this week.
