Hello there all Outreachy applicants for this round.
Time keeps flying, and we have already reached the midway point for this contribution phase.
Now is a great time to:
go over your open PRs, see if you’re missing incorporating feedback from them
check your open tickets, see if you haven’t claimed more than you were able to work on, so far
review the types of tasks you have worked on so far, and try to diversify your contributions, in case you haven’t done so, already (and look for something that ramps up complexity, a bit)
If you haven’t started to fill up your final contribution form, we also suggest you doing so. This gives you time to think about the tasks you have worked with, and the other questions without rush. Try to submit that form before the last day, to avoid unnecessary stress. You can edit your final application until the deadline (Nov 3). Hey all there, I’ve sent out the community questions to those who have been actively working on PR contributions, do check your inboxes for the emails used in the commit messages to find them.
And don’t forget the deadline to submit your final contribution forms! November 3, 4 pm UTC: do that as soon as you can, you don’t have to wait for a PR to be approved or merged to submit your form, and you can still register contributions until December 1st, 4 pm UTC, if you submit your final application before the deadline.
