I was wondering why publishing to pypi for suricata-update stopped and/or what it would take to get that restored?
We utilize the python scripts without suricata or the conf for combining multiple rule sources (internal repo + et) with a disabled list from our repo.
For the longest time after some PyPI changes, everytime I tried, it failed and following the docs for the new setup procedures never worked. I just tried now with Twine, and it worked. So Suricata-Update 1.3.3 is now there, and its easy enough to keep it update, at least until PyPi decides to break things again!
Completely understand those scenarios. Many thanks for the background and trying again. Will certainly be giving it a whirl.
