  • i am trying to setup suricata in pfsense, when i update the rule set its failed due to SSL certificate problem. i have put the Snort Oinkmaster Code in global setting.

Suricata on pfSense is a customized version. You need to ask questions about it on the Netgate (pfSense) forums and not here (due to the customized nature of Suricata on pfSense).

Very quickly I can tell you that you should not be using that very old pfSense version. pfSense CE is now up to version 2.7.2. You will not be able to solve your rules download problem until you upgrade pfSense.
