Is it possible to install and run Suricata-IDS on illumos and OpenIndiana?

I’ve one done some build testing on one of them (can’t remember which). I think there were some issues. I generally don’t recommend it and we won’t be able to support you.

Yeah, it has maybe come up 2 or 3 times before over the more than a decade we’re building Suricata.
