Hey @Haleema_Khan,

can you create a topic with more details about the issues you’re facing here in the forum? It can be under the Outreachy category ^^

This will help us in learning how to best support you.

Hello again Outreachy applicants!

It was brought to my attention that I should update my introduction, so I’m redoing it.
I’ve added bold to the new information that is more important to retain.
Sorry for not doing that before!

Hey Baz!

Rust is difficult. But cool. And difficult in a cool way. You’ll be fine :stuck_out_tongue:
I also find it rather difficult to find time to read books, lately. I sometimes opt for audiobooks. Have you tried those?

Welcome to our community! I hope this will be a positive experience in your rust journey.

I’m looking forward to contribute to Suricata

I have actually tried audiobooks; I just end up not focusing (well, because I’m always doing something else alongside). Thanks for the advice anyway

Hello again ^^

We’ve had some people contributing a lot already, so you’ll have to speed up your game, but the doors are open!

What’s most important is that you learn along the way and have a good time, so this experience will always be useful, no matter the outcome.

Welcome to our community, and do join our Discord server, especially the #Outreachy channel, for more synchronous chats.

@hadiqaalamdar thank you for your interest. Apologies for the confusion but we’ve created a new thread for this year’s applicants and have archived this topic. So, please follow December 23 to March 24 Outreachy round: Introduce yourselves here! for getting to know about the applicants and mentors of this round. Thank you!
You can re introduce yourself there if you want.
